The Youth Parade Association (YPA) is a national (c)3 nonprofit corporation working to promote and foster the acceptance of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual , and Queer (LGBTQ) people in educational institutions. 

We serve to address the alarming and substantial hardships LGBTQ youth face in schools.

Education

Equitable access to knowledge is a fundamental human right. We work to create an environment in schools where all students can thrive, starting with using evidence-based resources for the public. Learn more about the LGBTQ community at our Education Center.

We provide LGBTQ students with support services tailored to their unusual needs. From support groups to peer mentorships, our no cost programs help LGBTQ students across the nation.

Note: Traveling as an LGBTQ+ person always carries a certain degree of risk. It is our reality as we navigate a society with 60+ countries criminalizing our relationships and a rise in anti-LGBTQ+ legislation around the world. We encourage our traveling people to understand the laws and cultural challenges they may face in any destination they choose to see for Pride and beyond.
