Is gene belcher gay
Ive been rewatching old episodes of Bobs Burgers. In a lot of ways, the show could be considered the most sex-positive show on televison. Tinas awkward budding sexuality gets talked about a lot on the Internet, and is certainly noteworthy. But while rewatching multiple episodes in a row recently, I found myself thinking more about Gene.
Ive always loved Genes character for the sassy quotes which make the viewer wonder if hell grow up to be gay. Genes character gets wonderful one-liners like, “You dont just throw away satin!!” in A River Runs Through Bob. Whether its private spa days with Linda or dressing up in a sequin gown and wig to perform with the girl group he creates at school, Gene isnt afraid to welcome his feminine (effeminate?) side.
But there are also plenty of times when Gene acts like a “normal” year-old boy. Whether its recording fart noises on his electric keyboard, talking about poop, or eating the orange foam from Family Frackus, Gene is just as likely to be grossing out the family as being fabulous.

While Louise has no problem calling herself and acting enjoy one of the boys and Bob is canonically multi-attracted , the only really regular LGBT in-canon text comes from the recurring background character of Marshmallow, who is implied to be trans person. ZEKE
A thing that many bisexual people can relate to is not knowing their sexuality when they are kids. AlthoughGeneBelcher, the middle child of Bob and Linda Belcher on Fox's " Bob's Burgers," has history with fellow classmate Courtney, his sexuality may be more fluid than explicitly mentioned on the show.
H. Jon Benjamin, who voices Bob on the show, sat down with HuffPost Inhabit and explained that the hilariouscharacter could one night realize he's queer, as some have speculated.
"He's shapely and he's not athletic. There's a lot of people who've contended that he may be a gay man someday, and I hope so," Benjamin told host Nancy Redd.
While the show's writers seem to have left it open to translation, Benjamin said he thinks Gene's father would be totally supportive of him.
"Bob would be fine with it, too," he said. "But I don't recognize and I think that's something that's a mystery."
