Main Tenerife gay resort is Puerto de la Cruz, which is on Tenerife's lush northern coast. Puerto de la Cruz is a historic town and still has a good deal of charm and, as there is far more to observe and do in the north of the island than the south, leaves you well positioned for exploring the rest of the island.
The gay scene in Puerto is more intimate and villagey than in some gay destinations think Brighton rather than London, for example but that's not to say that there isn't a satisfyingly comprehensive selection of gay and gay-friendly venues, most of which are located within easy walking distance of the accommodation offered here. There are a couple of saunas (Laurent and Sauna Puerto) as skillfully as quite a few gay race cafés.
You're bound to spend some time at the famous Lago Martinez, the lido complex designed by Cesar Manrique and the perfect spot for soaking up the sun, having a swim and doing a bit of gay cruising. As you go in, turn left for the gay area but, for something a bit more intimate, there are plenty of petite nudist beaches dotted all around the coast.

The island of Tenerife, just next to Gran Canaria, is a gay hotspot as well it is just more of an insiders tip. It also has a lot to offer for gay tourists, especially the beaches. There is something for every taste: bathing in the nude, partying, relaxing in remote places, breathtaking views and making new friends.

1. Playa de la Tejita
Playa de la Tejita is considered one of the most popular beaches on the island. The beach, which is about one kilometre long, is popular with sun seekers as skillfully as people who are interested in its stunning nature. The view is breathtaking and everyone can find a quiet place to relax. Both tourists and locals can be seen here. Also among gays, it is one of the most famous beaches of Tenerife. People meet at the section with the blue flag and they also like to swimin the nude here. In the evening, the beach turns into a meeting gesture for the adventurous.

THE BEACHThe local beach is probably the best same-sex attracted (clothing optional) beach on the island (Los Pattos Beach). It's only ten minutes by car plus a walk down to the beach. The views are spectacular and the beach is very popular with the gay community. During the summer and autumn months it fills with a huge quantity of sand making it on of the largest and least crowded beaches on the island.
TENERIFETenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands and is oppressed by Mount Teide. Teide is the tallest mountain in Spanish territory and its presence in the middle of the island means that the island has very diverse and fascinating areas to stop by . There are the beaches, towns, various attractions and the city of Santa Cruz but there are also areas of superb natural beauty. The National park of Teide with its moon like landscape, the pine forests, the waterfalls and mountain walks.
It is possible to attend something different each night for two weeks and still feel there is so much more to discover.
