PAISLEY’S entertainment scene is about to get ‘fruity’as the town’s first-ever gay nightclub opens for business.
Forbidden Fruit is being launched by year-old gay activist Kyle Brown, who is also planning a series of themed nights – including some which will film topless waiters and “adult party games”.
He even hopes to entice gay player John Barrowman along to make a guest appearance.
Forbidden Fruit will be staged upstairs at the Moloko club, in New Road, each month and will cater for gay clubbers of both sexes.
Kyle, who is bringing in a well-known drag artist for the opening night, told the Paisley Daily Express: “Up to now, the gay scene here has been non-existent, although Dezarows, which was in Causeyside Street, was gay-friendly.
