I've been something of a slash/MM nut lately, so I can only speak from that side of the field. You'll be surprised how many LGBT authors publish paperback copies of their books though - adorable much every author that's moderately/quite well-known among the circle have paperbacks published, so you have plenty to choose from. Now onto recommendations

Here's a brilliant list, newly compelled where some authors have gathered up the favs of the genre.

Goodreads is where I'll recommend you to do some look-see for your own personal likes. It's a bit hard to differentiate between Erotica and the more serious works at first, but if you acquire an account and you start adding the books you like, the site does the rest of the work for you. Most of the hour, the reviews also inform you what you dependency to know. Don't bother with the ratings; they're jacked up by die-hard fans who five-star everything halfway readable even when it's mediocre.

And here's a list for the most humorous LGBT books.

Most of those aren't so sex-centric, and they hav

I didn&#;t realize until the film came out just how many queer women in my social circle and workplace had read and adored Red, Alabaster and Royal Blue. But perhaps I shouldn&#;t have been so surprised, considering women have historically been the primary readers of M/M idealistic fiction, even if the general assumption around that truth is that it&#;s straight women. If you’re here, you know the basics: Alex Claremont-Diaz is th

The world of gay romance novels is, if not quite as vast as the world of m/f romance, still quite expansive. Are you looking for a royal-commoner romance? A fake marriage? Something dark and gritty, or something that&#;s the literary corresponding of a basket of puppies? Whatever it is that floats your romance boat, I guarantee there&#;s an m/m romance out there that will satisfy. In making this list, I&#;ve highlighted as many #ownvoices authors as possible. There&#;s a misconception that the only people who compose m/m romance are straight women, and while it&#;s true that some of the biggest names in gay romance are unbent women, there are also dozens of queer men writing fantastic gay romance. But because of the biases and shortcomings of publishing (and a slew of other complicated factors), it&#;s linear women who often get the most recognition in the genre. This is not to declare that straight women can&#;t, or shouldn&#;t, write gay romance novels. You&#;ll find several (including some of my absolute favorites!) on this list. You&#;ll also discover many wonderful books by homosexual men
